Research Interests
With a strong background in working with first-year students and promoting student success, Dr. Bridges’ research focuses on key areas that enhance academic performance and well-being. Her interests include resilience, coping styles, and the imposter phenomenon. Dr. Bridges is particularly invested in exploring positive psychological resources such as hope, optimism, and self-efficacy, which significantly impact academic success. Additionally, she is dedicated to discovering and implementing innovative ways to integrate technology into the classroom to engage students more effectively with course content.
