Clinical Interests

Dr. Thurneck is a licensed psychologist and health service provider in North Carolina. As the Director of the ECU Psychology Clinic, she is primarily involved in the supervision and training of graduate students. Her clinical interests include developing family-school-medical partnerships, the treatment of internalizing disorders in children and adolescents, and psychological assessment. Before joining the faculty at ECU, she worked in private practice and was the Director of the Psychology and Social Work Clinic at Ohio University.
