Research Interests

Dr. Schultz is interested in the developmental course of externalized behavior disorders, particularly as it relates to the academic and social impairments that emerge in adolescence. He is currently conducting research on (1) a serious game for middle school students with ADHD (www.athemosthegame.org); and (2) innovations to the Interconnected Systems Framework for improved school mental health for elementary school students.  Both projects are funded by the US Department of Education.
