What is your hometown or where do you consider you are from?

• I am from a small mountain town, Rutherfordton, NC.

How many years have you been at ECU?

• I have been with ECU for about 12 months. However, I worked at the ECU Proctoring Center for 5 months in 2020 before COVID hit and the center was closed.

What do you love about ECU? What is or was your favorite aspect of being a Pirate?

• The warm and encouraging family-like environment that allows me to work with and assist the young and bright minds of this new generation. I love being a Pirate because it truly like one big family! Everyone helps each other and lifts each other up!

What do you do when you are not working or studying? What are your hobbies or recreational activities?

• I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 13-year-old son and hanging out with friends. I enjoy family trips to the mountains and visiting with family who live outside of Greenville. I love to read, listen to music, and sing with my family

What shows are you watching now?

• I just finished watching Glee, and I have started watching Rescue Me. I am patiently waiting for the new season of Outlander!

What is your favorite restaurant in Greenville?

• My favorite restaurants in Greenville are Basils and Texas Roadhouse.

What is something many people don’t know about you?

• I love dad jokes
